In Memory of

Patricia Faye Tighe

June 24, 1942 - October 11, 2008

Loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother

Born Patricia Faye Hetzel, Patsy was uniquely spontaneous and loyal. Her unselfish, delightful spirit was capable of sincere empathetic acts, and her amicable and warmhearted personality endeared her to us all. She was someone for whom long lapses in personal contact did not affect her loyalty and friendship. While Patsy's agreeable demeanor, devout loyalty and open sincerity were apparent to all, she also possessed a heightened sense of justice, and would stand up for what she believed right despite the consequences. Patsy was respectful of all life forms, but she loved birds, especially hummingbirds, the most, after her dogs. Patsy possessed great energy and drive and would fling herself without reservation into any task she chose to undertake. Patsy possessed a developed artistic insight reflected in her collection of early Japanese woodblock prints and other art work. Her musical preferences ran from Bob Dylan and Neal Young, through Diana Krall to Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli. We will all miss the soft embrace of our dear friend.

Throughout her life known to her friends as Patsy, she is probably best remembered for her warm personality, kindness to all living things, and fierce loyalty.
